Flight Operations

DZYNE’s aircraft systems are tested through rigorous and comprehensive test plans, satisfying commercial and DoD regulations.

Flight Test encompasses every core competency from engineering to safety. DZYNE employs a team of professional flight crew to operate and maintain Unmanned Air Vehicles.  The crew members have extensive experience in manned and unmanned aircraft in test and operational environments.

Our core competencies include:

Flight Test Planning and Support – enabling safe and successful transitions from concept to flight, test planning creation and submission, and resource coordination

Crew Maintenance and Training – a creation of operator and ground documentation and training curriculum to support flight test operations

Flight Test Operations – test execution, coordination, and post-flight data review

Complete Customer Support – including flight, maintenance, field service, and training

24/7 Customer Support – CONUS and OCONUS​

Training

Full-Service Training
We use our aircraft and flight simulators to train full-service air vehicle operators, crew chiefs, and mission payload operators.

We provide upfront and ongoing training services for seamless mission operations

Air vehicle operator (AVO), crew chief (CC) and mission payload operator (MPO) training

Approximately 8 weeks, depending on previous experience and weather

Candidates: 4 AVOs and 6 CCs per class 

Instructors: 2 AVOs and 2 CCs per class 

Location: DZYNE facility or customer designated site

Payload specific training can be incorporated into the curriculum

Experience Requirements

Group 3 AVO with operational internal pilot experience

Private pilot license or military equivalent 

English proficiency

Training Timelines

Initial Qualification Period: 12 months 

Requalification Training: 2 weeks for AVO and 1 week for CC

Recommended Currency: minimum of 1 event every 60 days, including simulator training; if AVO exceeds 60 days of inactivity, a currency flight with an instructor is required
