DZYNE Celebrates U.S. Patent Award for ROTORwing

Irvine, CA, June 3, 2015 – Our cutting-edge design team was recently awarded a patent for ROTORwing, a revolutionary unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Inventors Matt McCue, Robert Godlasky and Mark Page were recognized for their achievement with a celebration at the Vehicle DZYNE Studio on June 3, 2015, for their US 8,991,751 B2 patent award. ROTORwing is unique design combining the benefits of an airplane’s long endurance with the vertical takeoff and landing of a helicopter. Unlike other conventional UAVs, it does not require a runway, catapult or a net for launch and recovery.
