DZYNE Technologies is building a highly skilled team that thrives in the creation of new air and ground vehicles. The candidate will work in a rapid development environment where projects will progress from design, fabrication, assembly, and test phases in a short period of time.
The successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter who has direct, hands-on experience fabricating vehicle and product systems. The candidate must have a strong understanding of aircraft fabrication and systems operation.
Assembly, disassembly, install, test and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies of manned or unmanned aircraft
Creation, modification, route and install aircraft system wire harnesses
Coordinates with subject matter experts to resolve issues beyond the scope of field maintenance capability
Must be available for a flexible work schedule, available for extended or weekend hours sometimes on short notice
Follow specific tool control, FOD (Foreign Object, Debris) control and safety guidelines and policies
Reports to the Chief Engineering, Program Manager and Technical Director
Exemplary communication skills
Works independently with little to no supervision
Perform other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, program, or employee(s)
Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.
High School Diploma or GED
4-6 years’ relative work experience
Experience reading and interpreting assembly instructions or drawings
A & P License preferred
Experience with RC flying and modeling preferred but not required
Experience in light composite repair, modifications and the use of appropriate tools
Ability to use basic test equipment such as multi-meters and aircraft-specific test equipment
Able to clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.
The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment to an environment where inclement weather may subject to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc.
Travel required (25%). Travel to either training or to our test facility in Utah. Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
